Christians have freedom over sin and darkness when we accept Christ. Following Christ provides a shield of protection from the dark world for the believer. Dwelling in Christ provides an umbrella of hope and protection. we are to feel secure in living our lives as believers because the devil has no power over us as we remain in Christ. some assuring verses are a follows.

2 Corinthians 3:17 “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
Galatians 5:13-14 “You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh ; rather, serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
